A classic lion's head door knocker on an entrance door always makes for a grand and sophisticated impression. This beautiful cast bronze English door knocker with nice detailing dates from the 1930s-1940s and is in very good antique condition. The bronze surface has a nice old patina and normal wear from age and use. Functional and ready to display. Two black oxide bolts will allow for mounting on doors measuring 1.75” thick. The striker is not included. A solid heavy decorative piece with lots of character and very characteristic of English quality and charm.
