These hats were traditionally worn by children, particularly boys, to protect them from evil spirits and bring good fortune. Made of silk and features ornate embroidery and appliqués, in bright colors showing butterflies, birds, dragonflies, and flowers. These hats were often worn during special occasions such as Lunar New Year celebrations and festivals.

Excellent condition, very nice embroidery details. I will include with hat stand for display purposes.
