Wood structure, with 4 straight legs, all connected with a pair of stretchers for stability, and for leg rest as well. Top of the seat has a spectacular hand painting of a Nantucket coastal scene, featuring joyful kids playing in front of the house, , horse and buggy delivering Nantucket Baskets, house with American flags, and sailing boats in the ocean in the distance. This is an original artist signed and dated 1998 (20th century) made chair, solid wood., in very good condition. Chair stands 24" tall, and 13.25" x 13.25" diameter wide top (widest point at center). Good quality, good condition overall, great structure, paint shows light use / age wear if any, as it was used for display only (please see photos). Awesome piece that will fit in any traditional or mid-century modern setting! See less
