A beautiful vintage Rhodochrosite box out of a collection of 4 rare stone boxes we recently acquired out of an estate collection. This box has stunning graining. It looks to be lined in alabaster. It has a brass hinge. This box has quite a bit of damage to the corners and has been repaired in the past on the back. It has corner chips missing as well. Please see the detailed photos.
It is still a functional and stunning Rhodochrosite box that will enhance any decor.
