I purchased some similar paintings back in the 1990's when they were coming in from Italy and known as "starving artist paintings". Artists would paint multiple copies of an old master and sell them unframed. The rolled up canvases were shipped to the USA where they were framed and sold. With frame it measures 30.25" x 34.25".
