Unsigned, but presumed to be made in Japan in the 1920s. The Anglo-Japanese style case is painted black with gold guilded engraved Japanese landscape scenes. The front features a building with a water wheel next to a river and volcano in the background. The back has a smaller landscape scene and birds. The edge has beautiful and intricate floral and symbol detailing. This piece would have been used for small cigars or cigarillos and perfect for credit cards or small wallet. See less
