Originally designed in 1966 by Finnish designer and sculptor Timo Sarpeneva (1926-2006) for Iittala, Finland. The Festivo candle holder features a textured design that has a chipped ice effect. It is composed as a column with projecting bands, a flared mouth and a round base. This set comes in various heights. The Festivo line was produced from 1966 - 2018. We collected these pieces over time and suspect they are from different production years. A gorgeous set to add to a collection or the building blocks of a new one!
Four out of the five candlesticks are signed with “TS”. Zoom in on photos to see signatures (they are circled on the last photo).

- Overall, this set is in very good vintage condition. No imperfections on the shorter 3 candle holders. The 9.5” piece … moreOverall, this set is in very good vintage condition. No imperfections on the shorter 3 candle holders. The 9.5” piece has a chip on the underside of the base — which cannot be seen when upright, and also a few black flecks from production. We have seen other pieces with such flaws and they are not very noticeable. The 12.5” piece has a chip in the second rung from the top (pictured). Due to the design of the candlesticks, it is also is hardly noticeable unless you’re looking for it. The 2 tallest ones seem to be the oldest and were found together. The only candlestick without a signature is the tallest one. The others all have TS on the bottoms. less
