A captivating mid-century modernist still life painting, executed in oil onto board and dated 1963.
The composition presents a thoughtful arrangement of a jug, lemons, and a pear atop a wood-textured table. The artist has reduced everyday forms into clean, angular planes, creating a rhythm of geometric abstraction that recalls the influence of Cubism.
