This flush mount ceiling light from the mid-1970s has a large ornate cast metal fitter embossed with scrolls and leaves that holds an eye-catching bulbous frosted crackle glass shade capped with a distinctive finial. The fixture was produced by Lightcraft, which was a California company, on a base molded for them by Hedco. The fixture holds a single standard base bulb. It has been tested and works.
The fixture extends 10 inches below the ceiling. The fitter is 8 1/8 inches wide at the ceiling, 4 1/2 inches wide at the shade and 2 inches in depth. The glass shade is 5 1/2 inches high, including the glass lip, and 11 inches in diameter, making a squashed oval shape. The finial extends 3 inches down from the shade.

There is a hidden repaired chip on the edge of the glass shade where it sits inside the edge of the fitter as shown in the pictures. The electrical wires are original, but work fine. There are a few faint dark wear marks on the glass near the edges by the finial and fitter that can be seen in close inspection of the pictures. less
