Brongo, who started selling her ceramic vessels in … Read more Wonderful piece in excellent condition from Arizona based artist Sylvia Fugmann Brongo. Brongo, who started selling her ceramic vessels in 1983, remembers her love of art starting as a young child “painting pinecones on our kitchen table when I was 5 or 6 years old.” Her work is influenced by forms in nature, creating organic, flowing and whimsical pieces. Masterfully hand rendered with no mechanical process. Her pieces are sanded before firing which creates a glass-like finish, then airbrushed. Extremely fragile and would prefer local pick up or delivery to avoid shipping. See less
