An etching with aquatint by the German artist Johnny Friedlaender (1912-1992). This abstract work depicts an abstracted landscape with a field of flowers and a rainbow curving over what could either be a figure or a structure on the ground. The print is displayed in a black frame with a white mat and is signed bottom right and numbered 45/200 bottom left.
Johnny Friedlaender was born in Poland in 1912. He taught etching in a Paris gallery while traveling internationally. His work has been exhibited worldwide, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan, and the United States.
