1920’s Cast Iron Bookends Depicting George Washington Crossing The Delaware River. There is a CT Maker’s Mark and “Copyright” on the backs of each bookend. These Bookends are featured in Collector's Encyclopedia of Bookends, and noted as from circa 1925. They are in Very Good preloved condition and have a bronze patina. One Bookend has some white paint splatters on it.
Each Bookend measures 5 1/4” Tall x 5 1/4” Wide x 1 1/4” Deep. Each Bookend weighs 2 pounds 3.1 ounces or 35.13 ounces or 996 grams. The Set weighs 4 pounds 3.3 ounces or 67.27 ounces or 1907 grams.
