I had a challenging time finding the makers … Read more Absolutely gorgeous Nelson Mccoy leaves and berries design created in the 30's. I had a challenging time finding the makers mark the bottom has crazing. I have included a picture of the bottom. I have read to tell if it is the real Mccoy to measure it and to study the glazes. In my studies I have learned that in the early years, Mccoy did not always sign pottery. I have learned that Mccoy used a golden spray over original design and shapes and that to find it today is rare. I measured the width from inside the opening at top. The depth is across the middle of piece. The size and glaze are consistent with Mccoy pottery. It was difficult to show glaze under normal lighting so one picture is in different lightening but dramatized in color it is not that gold. From my reading Mccoy did use a golden spray over pottery in the fantasy collection. These pieces are worth thousands of dollar See less
