Antique Tarahumara Olla, terracotta fermenting pot of the Native Indian Tarahumara people from the Copper Canyon in Northern Mexico.
The Tarahumara people gather every year during Easter week (semana santa). These pots, called Olla, are used during rituals to create this fermented corn beer consider as sacred. This ceremony forms a significant part of their society.
