Antique 19th Century Fine Quality Mahogany Writing/Dressing Table – Also Ideal as a Desk or Side Table
This elegant antique table, dating from the 19th Century, features clean lines and a simple yet refined design.
Expertly crafted from mahogany, it is sturdy with tight joints, making it a rare and desirable find. The smoothly sliding, ash-lined drawers provide practical storage.
Measuring 103cm wide, 50cm deep, and 77cm high + 3cm high upstand (with a knee hole height of 61cm), this versatile piece fits seamlessly into various settings.
In good antique condition, it bears historic knocks, marks, repairs, wear, imperfections, and alterations consistent with its age. There are a few historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure. Later handles.
