Standing 24.5" tall on marble bases, these 100-plus year-old baroque-style 5-arm candelabras are unusual for their height and for their hand-carved, cream-colored, fine Italianate marble bases. They have classic baroque design characteristics of urns, faces, intricate leaf shapes, pineapple finials, basically leaving no surface unadorned.
This Rococo Revival style was favored in 19th century France, where we think these may have been made. They are solid brass and weigh approximately 12.4 lbs. each. The wingspan all around the arms is 11". The width of the base is 5.5" wide by 5" deep.

They do not have a high-gloss shine, but in fact have retained their original, deep brass sheen. We have fully hand-cleaned both candelabras in detail. The only actual flaw is that one of the arms on one candelabra does not have its removable wax-catching cup-rim that goes into each cup, around the base of the candle. This shows in the 6th photograph. less
