Carl Radke has been blowing glass since 1970 and is one of only a few glassblowers out of thousands in the United States who continues to work in this difficult and traditional glass. Carl must be a chemist as well as a craftsman to work successfully in this medium.

Purchased from a stunning lake-front estate auction just west of Wayzata, MN.

Both the lamp base and shade are signed by Carl Radke and dated 2002.


Excellent condition — no damage or repairs to the glass. Light scuffs on base from normal use (very minor).



Lamp has been professionally inspected and serviced to make sure the wiring was okay – they replaced the inline cord switch (Sept. 2022).

Each lamp is signed and dated by Radke to assure authenticity and to retain its future collector value. The Cherry Blossom design fits perfectly with the large glass shade and slender base and will certainly become a cherished family heirloom.

There’s an inline cord to turn the lamp on and off. It has two switch settings that control all three bulbs (two 25W bulbs up top and a 7.5W bulb in the base).

19-inches tall from base to finial. The lamp shade is 12 inches in diameter.



Finial is original and looks to be brass.



Overall, it’s an extraordinary lamp — highly coveted and collected for their detailed beauty Radke puts in each one of his creations. The blossom design is great and colors are superb. It’s one of those kind of lamps you keep in the family and hand down to the next generation.
