The artist is Jo Nelson, an American artist born in 1938. Nelson has lived in Palm Beach, Italy and New York. Her Assemblage fine art has been shown in galleries worldwide. This composition features an Asian theme including carved jade, Mahjong tile, various textiles, tassels, and strips of bamboo. This Assemblage has a thick wood frame with a faux painted design and large oval hobnails on the interior edge. JBN
