A lovely antique circa 1920s silver plated serving bowl made by Christofle for a Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (aka French Line) ship. Excellent vintage condition, lots of small bumps, marks and signs of use but no large dents or damage. There are a few dark speckles of discoloration inside. The front of the bowl features the iconic CGT logo, Christofle marks to the base. This art nouveau style CGT logo was developed for the ship FRANCE.
This dish measures just about 10.25” long including handles by 7” wide by 2.75” tall
