Artisans hand-painted the dish in the iconic blue and white palette, drawing inspiration from 14th-century Chinese porcelain. The elegant lobed design and intricate detailing reflect the craftsmanship that defined Delftware’s golden age, particularly between 1640 and 1740. Still admired and produced today, each piece bears hallmark signatures on the bottom, including the initials JT, an apothecary bottle, and the word "Delft"—a testament to its authenticity and heritage. The plate has two small holes on the foot, original to the piece, allowing for wall display. See less
