A 19th Century French Charles X fruitwood marquetry pedestal sewing table with tiered velvet lined compartments. There is a wooden clasp beneath the larger hidden octagonal compartment that holds it in place. Shaped top with inlaid veneer and decorative bronze trim. Tripod feet with cast bronze sabots. Old repairs to feet. Circa 1850-1870.
