An early 19th century Louis XV country French side table or nightstand made of solid walnut, with pierced quatrefoil shaped cut-outs on the sides. Open niche with dovetailed drawer hidden in the scalloped apron. Beautiful curved form with nice proportions and finished on all sides. Slender cabriole legs ending in deer hoof feet. A sturdy, well-crafted table using dovetailed and pegged construction. Waxed finish. Circa 1800-1820.
