Marked on bottom ESO Hand Painted Nippon. ESO denotes the period It was manufactured in Japan (“Nippon” means “Japan”) from 1865, when the country ended its long period of commercial isolation, until 1921. I have estimated the age to be from the latter period because it has an art deco look to me.
