Each chair features a hand-crafted frame with a square back, hand-painted in a green finish that reveals a beautifully aged patina and characterful areas of natural distressing. Structurally restored for stability, the chairs have been newly reupholstered in a stunning printed Chinoiserie-style cotton fabric by Chintz Titley & Marr. The upholstery is detailed with matching single piping along the back and a coordinating welt band on the seat. Gracefully tapered and fluted legs ending in classic toupie feet support each chair, with the front legs accented by finely carved rosettes at the corners—an elegant hallmark of the Louis XVI tradition.
