Vintage LaBarge Mirror, Neoclassical, Baroque. Rare, ebony black wood and gilt composition. Rectangular framed mirror with beveled glass. Ornate, projecting corners which each feature a single rosette. Intricately carved golden foliate acanthus leaf design surrounds the outer edge. This mirror would fit as perfectly in Julius Caesar’s halls as would gracing the walls of Frank Sinatra’s favorite bachelor pad…
Excellent patinated vintage condition, with minor rubbing on the edges of the frame. Wear consistent with age and use. (Mirror has what appears to be intentional distressing throughout.)
Mirrored glass is in good condition with only light, minor age related imperfections. An overall stunning neoclassical and rare find, marked “LaBarge” Las Vegas.
