Oval Spanish/Peruvian Colonial Wall Mirror Circa 1920's. This spectacular mirror evokes the primitive grandeur of a bygone era. I imagine walking into a tiny Spanish Mission, and seeing this above the alter as the strong smell of incense and candles fills the air. Boasting four intricately carved and stepped layers of design, decorated with gold leaf. The outermost rays mimic the heat of the sun, gilded in deep gold, while the centralizing layers provide reflection with cracked mirror insets.
