Posey Bacopoulos is a New York based studio potter. Her work has been shown in many national juried and invitational exhibitions where she has won awards. She has been published in The Ceramic Design Book, Best of Pottery 2 and The Art of Contemporary American Pottery. *
Her work is a combination of thrown, altered and hand built. She uses terra-cotta with a majolica glaze.
This vessel is really in excellent condition. The majolica glaze is smooth, white and opaque. The vibrant colors are applied in a thin wash to the glazed surface. This piece is 7.5 inches high. *
