This is a large, dark blue, cut to clear bowl with a zigzag top edge and a design of cut flowers. There is also a cut flower on the base as shown. The bowl is dark blue cut to clear and the cuts are sharp, symmetrical and perfect with no missed or unusual cuts. The bowl is wider at the base than it is at the top.
The problem is the bowl has a break. The break does not break through the glass, but it is visible from both inside the bowl and outside. The bowl still holds water and if it is not hit again, this may be the extent of the break. And it is still a very beautiful bowl. and the crack isn’t very noticeable unless you are looking for it.
The bowl measures 9.00 inches across the base. It is 7 7/8 inches across the rim. The side is almost 4.00 inches tall and the bowl is about 3.50 inches deep. Weight is five pounds.
The flower cuts are even and perfect with four flowers around the bowl and one on the base. The zigzag rim is also perfectly and evenly cut.
The bowl has no tags or markings that I have found so I do not know who the maker is.
There is no other damage to the bowl.
