the company fischel, officially known as d. G. Fischel & sohn, was an austro-hungarian manufacturer specializing in bentwood furniture.

founded: 1871 in česká kamenice (now the czech republic)
peak production: late 19th century – first half of the 20th century
ceased operations: after world war ii (post-1945, the factory was nationalized and became part of the ton enterprise) this piece has an attribution mark,
