Church Chair from De Fonteyn Church in Voorburg, the Netherlands. Boldly designed in the 1950s by architect Albert van Essen, the facade of this church is defined by two impressive high rising slabs of concrete functioning as bell towers. The chair shows a similar upwards dynamic, reaching for the heavens with decisiveness and a clear cut silhouette.
