Danish Canada Armchairs by Fritz Hansen, 1940s. Set of 2.
Pair of early Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern easy chairs in a dark brown stained beech. These model 2252 were designed by Christian E. Hansen and were produced as a pair by Fritz Hansen in 1942. They both still has the original makers label under the seat with the production date and model number.
Beautiful and sculptural arm chairs with a light and elegant appearance. Excellent craftsmanship and uniform patina.
Good original vintage condition with patina consistent with age and use. Stable construction and firm joints. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
