Made from ebonised oak, with a bowed glass front, mirrored interior and a drop leaf access door to the back. The whole cabinet is removable from the frame so could be used as a counter top display. these display cases would have been used in department store to display jewellery and other high end goods. Remains in original condition and is fully functional, would make a lovely display in any hallway, front room or as a shop display case, a really lovely piece of victorian furniture.
