Crafted in the 1930s-1940s, the pieces showcase a rich composition of three distinct varieties of stone: The L-shaped structural base and upright slab are made from heavily veined, dark charcoal-and-white patterned marble. A smooth, solid grey semi-circle or demi-lune forms the middle layer. A small, vibrant block of golden-yellow and orange brecciated marble rests at the core, serving as a bright focal accent.
