Antique Hand Hammered/Forged Copper Kettle Chimney Pot with Copper Handles. The rim is rolled and the bottom rounded - it does not sit flat. Perfect for cooking over a fire or to keep some wine chilled on ice. Has a French look to it, but there are no markings to determine it's origins.
The bowl measures 11.75" in diameter, 15" w/ handles & 7.25" tall. Note the irregular nature of the bowl.
As found - I did not attempt to polish or remove the soot ~ it has obviously been used over a fire.
