The Turkmen Ersari rug’s design consists of three columns of octagonal medallions separated with “lattice or Kufic'' symbols in green and black. The rug is in a very desirable “near square” size. The Turkmen Ersari rug has a rich and vibrant red color field with design accents in green and navy blue/black colors. The rug has a primary border in red with geometric designs in green and red colors. The secondary borders are in abrash green and navy blue/black colors.
