R. CAPODIMONTE:
"R. Capodimonte" (Real Fabbrica di Capodimonte) refers to the renowned Neapolitan porcelain manufactory founded in 1743 by King Charles VII. While the earliest, most famous modeller was Giuseppe Gricci, many artisans, including those in the 20th century, produced high-relief, hand-painted figurines, often featuring the crowned 'N' mark.
Regarding "Sieni Capodimonte":
While the Capodimonte tradition is well-documented, specific artists and workshops within that tradition, such as a potential "Sieni" family or atelier, are less frequently highlighted in general overviews. It's possible that a "Sieni" connection relates to a specific workshop or artisan who worked in the Capodimonte style at some point in its history.
