R. CAPODIMONTE:
The "R" typically stands for "Real" (meaning "Royal" in Italian), referencing the royal origins of the Capodimonte porcelain manufactory. These pieces are collectible and beautiful examples of Italian craftsmanship as it best.
Regarding "Sieni Capodimonte":
While the Capodimonte tradition is well-documented, specific artists and workshops within that tradition, such as a potential "Sieni" family or atelier, are less frequently highlighted in general overviews. It's possible that a "Sieni" connection relates to a specific workshop or artisan who worked in the Capodimonte style at some point in its history.
