The attached … Read more This is a vintage children’s school desk in the industrial style probably originally in use in the 1950’s. The attached wood seat swivels so is easy to get in and out of,. The wood top raises for ample storage of school supplies. The desk and the chair look to be adjustable in height. The wood desk top has some writing on it and the underside of the desk top shows the faint remains of a child’s stickers. The desk is in very good, sturdy condition. It is not wobbly or fragile. Ready for many more years of use. From a nonsmoking household. See less

A lot of original art was produced on this somewhat imperfect desktop and its busy young owner grew up to be a designer. The metal was painted dark green at some point and I imagine could be repainted or stripped if you preferred another color or the look of bare metal. less
