There are 11 stations that each … Read more This beautiful hand-made 14k gold chain alternates between stations of amethyst and nephrite jade. There are 11 stations that each consist of carved torpedo shaped amethysts or jades, with a faceted piece of rock crystal sandwiched between them. Each stone is hand carved, as evident in the varying shapes and sizes of the stones—each are subtly different versions of the same form, giving the piece an organic nature. The stones have gorgeous color: the amethyst is a deep purple and the nephrite jade is an army green with a beautiful glow. Between each station is a 3” piece of chain. The necklace has a long length and it can be worn doubled—the placement of the stones when doubled has a certain grace about it that is very poetic.

The chain measures 43.5” long. It has no clasp and is designed to go over the head. The back ten inches of the necklace has no beads, which is intentional so that the chain lies flat and beads don’t get stuck in your hair. All of the stones in the piece are natural and hand carved. The necklace weighs 16.25 grams. It is unmarked and acid tests as 14k. See less
