Fantastic chic vintage ceramic over terracotta glazed vase/vessel, purchased at Gumps, made in Italy.
Dating to the 1970’s. Glazed with a somewhat frothy, lava-like warm white finish with a mid-century mod swirl pattern. Hand applied glaze resulting in a beautiful organic finish. Glossy finish overall.
Organic gourd-like shape. Body of vessel tapers slightly toward the fuller bottom and then back again, resting upon a small plinth. Heavy for its size.
Measuring 8”w x 8”d x 8”h.
