The pieces features a scalloped rim and symmetrical radial design that draws the eye inward. The interior is divided into four sections, each showcasing stylized pine trees and plum blossoms set against a backdrop of red, gold, and iron-rust enamel with intricate brocade patterns. The center medallion displays a classic floral crest in blue and gold, surrounded by delicate red scrollwork.

Largest bowl is 7" x 3.5", smallest is 4.5" x .75"

The exterior of the bowl is adorned with blue underglaze scroll motifs interspersed with red ribbons and crests, offering a beautiful contrast to the vivid, overglazed interior. This mix of color palettes—underglaze blue with overglaze red and gold—is characteristic of fine Imari porcelain.

On the underside, the bowl bears a blue fuku mark (福), meaning “good fortune” or “happiness,” inside a cartouche. This mark is often used on Meiji- to Showa-era Imari ware, and it signifies auspicious intent, aligning with the decorative motifs of pine and plum—both of which are traditional Japanese symbols of endurance, renewal, and longevity.
