This Lacquered screen is incised with colorful scenery and depicting idyllic court life in a palace complex. Finally dressed men and women and their attendance stroll throughout a grand enclosed courtyard of elaborate pavilions and low railings. The beautiful scene has a parcel gilt border on either side and the bottom. This beautiful Chinese export screen came from China circa 1950. See less
