A … Read more C.1998-2000: Rene' Jules Lalique; Design,"Languedoc," was introduced in 1929 and has since been manufactured in subsequent periods and demand. A wonderful nature-interpreted, of an overlapping leaf motif, but a distinctive Art Deco design-style, with accentuated larger proportions of leaves, in a raised relief format, often reminiscent of the lush and thick landscape region, hence it's namesake given, but Region in the South of France, between Mountains and Sea, but a quasi ivy-shaped leaves. A Satin finish, of re-polished crystal. offsets this large and solid crystal decorative accent bowl, and/or Vase has. It has the lush vibrancy like none other and sure to be a conversation piece at any dinner table or soiree, whereupon this piece rests upon, or either in a prominent place of distinction, as it is due it's declaration of importance. Signed along the base bottom polished, perimeter edging, Lalique, France. In great to excellent condition, except for the miniscule scratch here and there to base bottom edging, as there were no protective pads placed on this piece like the many other pieces this Palm beach island, Florida Living Estate implements.
