Offering an ornate, beautifully designed and appointed floor lamp in the Chinoiserie tradition with a spectacular painted shade. Super-solid, crafted in the "old style" of top-quality components and materials.
All-original, it's even got its blue-green and Chinese red painted accents! The pagoda finial is "top drawer" as are the wonderful shade holder, the pull-chain socket, the leafy socket cover, etc.
The black paint on the shaft was scratched and I've repainted it except for the part inside the shade-holding apparatus, which I'll touch up before shipping.
The wiring's in excellent condition and the pull-chain socket works well. Use any size wattage bulb you choose.
The base is very heavy and substantial. The base measures about 9 inches in diameter. The lamp is 59 1/2 inches tall.
The period shade is in PERFECT condition! And what an exceptional hand-painted scene; what a lovely shape the glass!
Overall the lamp measures about 59 1/2 inches high. The diameter of the base is about nine inches.
