Vintage; Italian eccentric, surrealist artist/designer, Pieror Fornasetti's, original, Hand-Made ceramic "Bindi" vase and part of the Tema a Variazioni series is this large lidded vessel, which Features the face of the Opera Singer Lina Cavalleri, Fornasetti's muse. It is a Limited Edition series, signed and numbered 293/299. Made by the Famous, Italian Ceramic Foundry of Bitossi especially for Fornasetti. A Mid-Century surrealistic version of a Ginger jar, but a serigraph or bendy dots graphic image of facial features. There was a small flea bite chip to top perimeter edge, of lid, BUT the PalmBeach client had a professional fix it, as the 2 Fornasetti's they have the red one listed herein, as well as this, was "ONLY," sitting within kitchen environment on display But in great condition.
