Century, Tiffany & Co., Hand-Painted in France, "Horoscope," and/or "Zodiac," Porcelain & 22KT. Gold Gilt large egg-shaped boxes, featuring Zodiac signs throughout the egg-shaped Box, supported upon gilded metal, clam-shell footed feet along with clamshell clasp fronts. Somewhat of a nod to the ever so fabulous and wonderful, Faberge" eggs, BUT these are made by Limoges, exclusively for Tiffany & Co. They are unique onto themselves, which show all the signs of the Zodiac icons/months, including the tops having a Sunshine face emblazoned upon the highest point of the eggs. On the underside is Country of Provenance, including the artist, who worked on this hand-painted piece, and for whom, was made for Tiffany & Co., exclusively for them and the Domestic marketplace within Tiffany stores.
