Unusual miniature pill box in the shape of a very detailed snail. These were made in Italy circa 1970-90s usually of 800/1000 silver or alpaca/argentan/German silver (an alloy of zink and pewter and other white metal). It has no markings or hall-marks and the maker is unknown to us.
