The slender birdcage body has four bold circular hooped arms. It is decorated with a variety of hand-cut crystal prism pendeloques. The crystals vary in size and shape: pear-shaped, teardrop-shaped, ice drops, flat and scalloped, smooth and almond-shaped. Drops include rock crystal also known as clear quartz. The internal fractures of rock crystal result in veins and colorful refractions of light that make each crystal different. This type of crystal is also considered beneficial for Feng Shui. The Mid-century design is timeless and works well in formal or informal settings. The circles and rock crystal elements combined, offer a soft comforting element in any room. See less

The chandelier takes four candelabra light bulbs. Each light bulb can use up to max of 60 watts. We recommend using LED lights because it helps preserve the antique fixtures better and longer. Antique chandeliers must be adapted to modern houses. This chandelier uses canopy and chain which is not included. Please check with your electrician or contractor for additional specifics on installing antique chandeliers. All sockets work and the chandelier has been rewired to meet US electrical standards. Crystals are intact. The brass has a nickel wash that is worn in some areas. No repairs to the metal have been made. Will be happy to provide additional closeup images upon request.
