Large and fine crisp white Chinese porcelain baluster shaped vase marked "Qianlong Period Make" from the Early People's Republic period … Read more Large and fine crisp white Chinese porcelain baluster shaped vase marked "Qianlong Period Make" from the Early People's Republic period (1949-1966), probably 1950/60's.
Colourful turquoise, blue, orange and green with fine pink and yellow lower lappet borders with Ruyi shapes on the shoulder and neck areas - enamelled. Hand painted with care in the Famille Rose design with pleasant pastel colours throughout. The body depicts a group of female figures in an outdoor genre scene with a calligraphy narrative/verse that describes the scene on the back.
Six character seal on base, under glaze red. Qianlong Period.
A elegant vase for the home. Comes with its own stand.
