The first two books of a 500 issue, limited "Edition de Luxe" collection published by Hawarden Press, London. This set is numbered 104/500. The books are undated, but our research indicates issuance C1890. Covers are dark navy blue with a leather grain texture and gilt lettering.

Excellent antique condition with strong binding and covers and fully intact pages with almost no wear. Appear to be unread. The interiors contain dealer inventory notations on the interior coversheet, a previous owners bookplate on the interior cover, and a taped repair to 1 tissue guard sheet.
