Antique, early 20th century Italian Renaissance Revival style Savonarola settee or bench having double X frame base, wide plank seat and arm rest at either end. Intricately carved decorative detailing includes repeating circular pattern on arms, and scrollwork, central roundels and shell motifs on the double crested top rail. A third carved roundel appears on a single set of paired splats at the back.
